
Michele Sterlace-Accorsi currently serves as the Executive Director of Feminists Choosing Life of New York. She also serves as an Attorney for Children with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department.
Michele recently served as a Campaign Consultant to the Coalition to Protect Kids–NY, a ballot issue committee formed to oppose New York's proposed Equal Rights Amendment. She also served as special counsel with the Thomas More Society/Women's Alliance Against Violence to launch a federal constitutional challenge to New York's Reproductive Health Act.
Michele grew up experiencing poverty and homelessness. She began her legal career as a trial attorney representing individuals seeking custody of abused and neglected children. She later continued this work at the Children's Legal Center, in NY, where she exclusively represented children.​
Michele's writings have been published in numerous New York State and national news outlets, including USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, and Politico.​
She is the mother of five adult children and "Bubbie" to four precious grandchildren.
