Helen Nguyen received a Master’s degree in Social Work (with a focus on Administration and Public Policy) from the University of Washington, where she also earned a BA in Women’s Studies. She co-founded WAMS/3W Medical for Women with her fellow college best friend in 2012 and has since served in various leadership positions within the organization. Since her appointment as CEO to WAMS in 2020, Helen has continued to guide the organization's mission and growth. Helen's passion for education surrounding women's health stems from her personal walk with infertility and seeing firsthand the gaps in reproductive healthcare. Helen is one of two daughters born from Vietnamese refugees and is a Seattle native. In 2021, Helen and her husband Steve welcomed into their home their son Maximilian through the beautiful gift of adoption. Helen is a life professed 3rd Order Dominican and credits the Order of Preachers to be the cornerstone of her Catholic faith.
