Dr. Angela Kristan completed her Family Medicine residency and Geriatric Medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center and earned a Master of Theological Studies from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family.  During training, she identified gaps in women’s health education and addressed them by developing a fertility awareness elective that included NaProTechnology training at the St. Paul VI Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. She has since expanded her expertise in restorative reproductive medicine through Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) and serves as a lecturer for FACTS (Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach the Science).  Building on this work, Dr. Kristan founded Gianna Medical of Central and Western New York in 2020, a practice focused on gynecologic health and restorative reproductive medicine. In January 2025, she further expanded her vision by establishing Restore Health and Wellness, a multidisciplinary center in Rochester, New York, dedicated to restoring health, promoting healing, and supporting individuals and families.
